CITIZENSHIP STANDARDS

It is expected that students will respect the religious principles of the school and will cooperate with the school and teachers in maintaining the rules and regulations printed in this bulletin or as announced and explained by the teachers.
Since the language of a child is of great importance to his moral, cultural, and social progress, it is expected that only good English will be used at school.
There are some behaviors that cannot be accepted in a Christian school. While it is true, we will try to work positively to bring about change when there is a violation of these standards. First, verbal counseling will be given the students. Second offenses result in a private meeting between teacher, principal and student. Finally, if the behavior continues the parent will be advised. And, if all the above fails the student will be place on probation. Ultimately, if the behavior continues to be offensive the child may be asked to withdraw from the school.

1 . Disseminating atheistic ideas or undermining the
religious ideals of the school.

2. Using profane language or indulging in lewd
suggestions or conduct.

3. The possessing or displaying of comic books, pornographic materials, occult materials or any other materials contrary to Biblical standards.

4. Using narcotics or tobacco in any form or having
them in one's possession.

5. Having matches or lighter (or its fuel) in one's
possession.

6. Gambling, betting, possessing playing cards, dice or
other gambling devices.

7. Drinking alcoholic beverages, handling them or
furnishing them to others.

8. Dishonesty, including theft; willful deception regarding violations of school regulations; cheating in examinations, class work of any other phase of school business.

9. Improper conduct involving persons of either sex.

10. Knives, guns, slingshots, games, toys, etc., are not allowed on the school grounds, except at the teacher's request for specified uses,

The influence of the movie theater, of many television and radio programs, of comic magazines and erotic materials hinders the student's progress toward attaining the standards of Christian conduct, therefore, the school strongly disapproves of such unwholesome influences.
